Hello Readers and welcome to San Francisco My Way! Here are some photographs of Sunday's “Up Your Alley” fair, held on Dore Alley here in San Francisco. Folsom Street Events holds it's “Annual” street fairs much to the delight of many.
Yet something that escapes notice is the many beneficiaries who receive monies from the fair. Such organizations as “The AIDS Emergency Fund & Breast Cancer Emergency Fund” “Project Open Hand”, “Lyon-Martin Women's Health Services”, “Positive Resource” and many, many more. With funding for non-profits becoming a joke in San Francisco and Mayor Gavin Newsom trying to build “City Hall South” and stuff down the throats of populace of San Francisco his “311” plan (a call center for Gods sake), and taking $2.2M from the Board of Supervisors to fund this “joke of 311 plan”, organizations like “Folsom Street Events” continue to help those in our community live a decent way of life.
A couple of days in the summer men and women gather to have fun in the sun and raise some money! Thanks guys, you Rock!
